Ed was appointed to the RRHA Board of Commissioners on October 23, 2008 and was reappointed in 2012 and 2016. He is retired and spends a good deal of his time serving the community. Ed has served on several boards including Roanoke Valley Red Cross, United Way of Roanoke Valley, Roanoke Valley ARC and Boy Scouts of America – Blue Ridge Council. Ed completed his undergraduate studies at Albany State University, his graduate studies at the University of Georgia, and obtained his J. D. from Woodrow Wilson College of Law.
