Section 32 RRHA Properties For Sale to First Time Home Buyers

RRHA was recently approved by HUD to sell five properties under the Section 32 program to first-time home buyers. The five properties are listed below. All of these homes were built by RRHA within the last 15 years and have modern amenities. Prior to sale of these properties RRHA will upgrade them so that they will be like new with no maintenance issues. Some will have new roofs, new heat pumps, decks, etc., depending on the condition of them at the time.

At this time RRHA has not listed any prices for these properties. We will work with prospective buyers to determine their credit limit and the final price will be determined by an appraisal. Down payment Assistance may be available via lenders registered with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta or other sources. You do not need to be a current public housing resident or voucher (Section 8) recipient to qualify. If you have a Section 8 voucher you may qualify to use it through the HCV Homeownership program to purchase a Section 32 home.

In short, RRHA is ready and willing to help you achieve the goal of homeownership!  Click Here to download an application and for more information, contact Frederick Gusler at (540) 983-9260 or via email at Frederick Gusler.
