ROSS Program

The Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Program connects residents of public housing with supportive services and activities that enable them to make progress toward economic independence and self-sufficiency. RRHA’s ROSS Coordinators work directly with residents to assess their needs and coordinate available resources in the community to meet them.

HOW CAN THE ROSS PROGRAM HELP YOU?

This service is FREE, and through this program, our ROSS Coordinators can assist you in the following areas:

  • Job Training
  • Resume Building
  • Job placement and linkages to local employers
  • Connection to educational programs for youth and adults
  • College preparatory or vocational classes
  • Supportive services such as childcare
  • Transportation for training and employment opportunities
  • Goal setting

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

By helping residents set goals and connecting them with necessary services, your ROSS Coordinator ensures you have the tools to achieve your objectives. Additionally, they can prepare you for the FSS Program by assisting you with training or other support to enhance your readiness.
