Mindfulness + Trauma Basics

This month’s TRIAD meetings at the EnVision Center will be led by Decca Knight, a qualified mental health professional who divides her time as a Trauma Specialist for Children’s Trust and a therapist at Family Services of Roanoke Valley will lead two sessions on Mindfulness and Trauma Basics.

The goal of these free sessions is to illuminate and cultivate awareness of prevalent behaviors that emerge following distressing experiences while exploring how preventing can empower individuals to grow resilient both before and after such trials, including the incorporation of mindful techniques.

2025 Operation Warm Coat Drive

Subaru is generously donating 504 winter coats for children in Roanoke City! Visit the Roanoke EnVision Center on January 18th to pick up a coat—no eligibility requirements, just stop by!

Saturday, January 18th / 11:00 – 3:00 PM

  • Sizes Available: Coats range from 2T to 2X.

  • Age Range: Perfect for kids and teens, ages 1 to 18.

Coats will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and children must be present to receive one. Don’t miss this opportunity to keep your little ones warm this winter!

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

Join Clean Valley Council for a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Litter Cleanup. Meet at the EnVision Center to get supplies. Please share your photos on Facebook and tag Clean Valley Council!
