Exciting news! Virginia Western Community College will once again offer the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMMA) course at the EnVision Center in Spring 2025.
Kick off your healthcare career as a professional medical administrative assistant. You’ll earn the professional and hands-on technical skills needed to work as a patient service representative, medical administrative assistant, or medical records clerk. This program is ideal for students who have never worked in healthcare, or are looking for an introduction to the healthcare field.
Get trained in 6 weeks and get to work fast!
Students will be prepared to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
We encourage RRHA residents to sign up for this class. With ample funding available, eligible students could attend at no cost! Stop by the EnVision Center to learn more about the application process and get all your questions answered.
