Heather Brush has a background in Homeless Services and has been working in human services in the Roanoke area for 11 years. Prior to that, she was in the publishing business in newspapers, magazines, and as a book editor. Heather is a proud grandmother of three, mom of two, and pet mom to four. She is an artist and amateur historian of all things Roanoke. Passionate about helping residents set and achieve personal goals, she is very excited for her role as Family Self Sufficiency Coordinator at the EnVision Center. Connecting residents and visitors to career guidance, continuing education, literacy and arts events, credit and finance counselling, and more, she is ready to help find the puzzle pieces.
