Applying for Section 3 as an Employee/Resident

Who is a Section 3 Worker?
Any worker who currently or within the last five years meets the following criteria for at least one category.
- The Worker’s income for the previous or annualized year is below the HUD income limit.
- The Worker is employed by a Section 3 business concern.
- The Worker is a YouthBuild participant.
Benefits of Self-Certifying as a Section 3 Resident
- Preference* in being considered (if qualified) for training and/or employment opportunities with the Housing Authority and/or its’ contractors.
- Notifications of employment, training and other economic opportunities when they become available.
- Access to Section 3 workshops, seminars, informational sessions through the Housing Authority.
