Kaelyn is the Public Information Specialist for Roanoke County, working on expanding the County’s footprint through different media platforms and community engagement opportunities. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Roanoke College. She is a member of the Safer Neighborhoods Committee and a reading buddy for the Lincoln Terrace Elementary School reading program. She also volunteers in the children’s ministry of her church. Originally from Bridgewater, Virginia, she has enjoyed exploring the Roanoke area and looks forward to finding new ways to make it her home.
