Evangeline Richie is the current Vice President of Housing, bringing many years of experience in operations management, policies and procedures management, compliance management, and property management. Evangeline is a native of Southwest Virginia and has been employed with the City of Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority for more than 7 years, total.

She is a results-oriented professional, who is recognized as a top performer, receiving an Award of Excellence in 2018. Evangeline provides strategic and tactical leadership, fostering collaborative action.

During her tenure with the Agency, she has proven to be an effective communicator with the ability to motivate and lead others. She can relate practically to diverse groups, from all social and economic backgrounds, serving as a strategic liaison with residents, government agencies, service providers, and the Community.
